CLEVELAND — A missing man’s body was found in the water overnight at North Coast Harbor in downtown Cleveland near the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Cleveland police tell 3News multiple crews responded to the scene, including fire officials, EMS and the Coast Guard.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man as 31-year-old Abdulrahman Alanazi.

The discovery of Alanazi’s body comes just three days after he was reported missing. According to Cleveland police, Alanazi was reported missing Friday after going out Thursday night in the downtown area with friends.

“He went with a group to the East 9th Street pier at approximately 2:30 a.m. to look at the water and was reportedly intoxicated,” police said last week. “When the group went to leave, Abdul reportedly walked away. Members of the group searched for Abdul and were unable to locate him.”

Police note that foul play is not suspected at this time. He was said to be visiting from Saudi Arabia.
