Ohio Amber Alert remains active nearly 10 months after Cleveland teen Keshaun Williams went missing; mother pleads for his safe return

'Keshaun, if you’re watching this, I love you,' his mother said during a press conference Thursday. 'I’m going to find you and I’m going to get you home safe.'

NEWBURGH HEIGHTS, Ohio — It has been nearly 10 months since an Ohio Amber Alert was activated for missing Cleveland teen Keshaun Williams -- and it still remains in effect to this day as his mother continues asking for help in his safe return.

“Please, whoever my child is with, please return my child," she said during a press conference Thursday morning. "He is underage. He has no business being out here without his parent. This is crazy. It’s not safe. It’s not cool. If anybody knows something, please come forward today. Keshaun, if you’re watching this, I love you. I’m going to find you and I’m going to get you home safe.”

She added that "somebody knows something" when asking for anybody with information to reach out to police.

"I don’t know who got you all scared to say something, but what’s done in the dark is going to come to the light," she said. "I need my child to show up. Not today. Not tomorrow. Right now.”

Newburgh Heights Police Chief John Majoy, who also serves as board president for Cleveland Missing, says a $22,500 reward is still available in this case.

“The reward money can remain anonymous, so if there is someone out there who has information and you are reluctant to come forward for your own safety or something like that, we can guarantee that your identity will remain anonymous," Chief Majoy said during Thursday's press conference. "You are welcome to come forward.”

Anybody with information is asked to call 1-866-4-WANTED.

“We are not giving up hope in this case," Chief Majoy added. "We are not giving up hope.”

Keshaun is described as 5'7" tall and weighs 130 pounds with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black jogging pants and a T-shirt.

PREVIOUS PRESS CONFERENCE

His mother made a plea for his safe return during a press conference last November.

“Keshaun, since you’ve been gone, I have been worried about you," his mother said during a previous press conference last year. "I miss the days that we eat breakfast together, we watch movies. I just miss seeing you in the morning when you wake up. I just miss waiting for you to walk through that door, taking you to boxing practice. I miss your smile. I want to hear your voice. Keshaun, if you see this, please come home. I love you and I’m waiting for you, because I know you’re going to walk through that door.”
