How Morgan Wright from Cleveland's Q104 became a TikTok star

She's racked up more than 134,000 followers and millions of views.

CLEVELAND — For Morgan Wright, being in front of a microphone has always come naturally.

The radio personality, who's currently on Q104’s morning show in Cleveland, found a love of entertaining at a young age.

Wright tells us her parents caught her at 3 years old sneaking down to the living room to watch Jay Leno on The Tonight Show. It was at that moment they knew she’d do something in media.

That childhood dream has since blossomed into a career being one of the hosts on Q104.

"I love it," she said. "Radio feels like home to me."

It’s on radio where she gives listeners a daily update on pop culture. During the pandemic, though, she brought that love of celebrity gossip to TikTok.

“Immediately, it blew up,” she said. “Millions of views on this one TikTok.”

At that moment, she knew she was on to something.

So she created, @morganptalks on TikTok.

In a short time, she has created quite the loyal following with more than 134,000 followers and more than 7 million views on TikTok alone.

It’s a platform in which she shares her thoughts on reality TV and celebrity gossip. From the Kardashians to The Bachelor and everything in between, if it’s celebrity gossip Wright is covering it.

“I was not expecting at all to be a TikToker, but it’s my baby and I love it,” Wright said.

You can follow her on Instagram and TikTok @morganptalks. She also has a newly launched podcast entitled "Morgan’s Pop Talks."
