CLEVELAND -- WKYC Channel 3 is giving you your first sneak peek at the new Azure rooftop lounge at The 9.
Cleveland's newest downtown hot spot is located 150 feet above Euclid Avenue. The grand opening is planned for Saturday.
The 9 opened last September, but owners held off opening the Azure lounge until spring temperatures arrived.
The bar is broken up into appropriately named corners. There is the "Public Square" corner that overlooks Public Square. "The Rotunda" corner which sits above "The Rotunda," which is now home to a new Heinen's supermarket. The "Playhouse" corner overlooks Playhouse Square. And the "Progressive" corner gives a great vantage point of Progressive Field.
The 8,500 square-foot area can hold up to 400 people.
