CLEVELAND — Authorities have cleared the scene where there was an active police presence outside of the federal building in downtown Cleveland at East 9th Street and Lakeside Avenue on Tuesday morning.
Cleveland police tell 3News it was around 8:26 a.m. when a suspicious vehicle was located in the area, which resulted in a response from the Bomb Squad.
"Upon further investigation, the vehicle was deemed not to be a threat and was authorized to be at this location," according to Cleveland police.
The all clear was given at 9:53 a.m.
Authorities had temporarily blocked off the intersection of Lakeside and East 9th as drivers were being diverted to alternate roads.
