CLEVELAND — Police on Wednesday announced the arrest of a suspect accused of exposing himself to children during recess outside Stonebrook Montessori School on Monday.
Cleveland police did not immediately release the suspect's name in an email to media. This story will be updated once his identity is released.
Police say the man is expected to be charged with voyeurism and public indecency.
The incident happened Monday when a teacher at the school called police after she observed a man masturbating while watching children from across the street during recess.
The teacher told police that the man was peaking around a tree with his pants at his knees, without any underwear.
When the teacher confronted the man, he told her he was “just trying to take a poop.” He remained near the school grounds for 10 minutes before fleeing the scene on foot in the direction of St. Clair Avenue.
