Officials in Cleveland have released more details about the still unknown suspect who allegedly kidnapped and assaulted a 13-year-old girl on her way to school.
According to a police report, the girl has just gotten off a bus on the city's east side and was preparing to walk the rest of the way to school when she was struck in the head and knocked out while looking at some home work. The suspect was described as a 6-foot-tall man with a stocky build with brown eyes and multiple pimples on his nose. He was also wearing a black hoodie, a black ski mask, and black jeans with multiple zippers and black knee patches at the time.
The victim further stated she was put into a gray four-door sedan (similar to a 2003 Chevrolet Impala) with black seats, a black ice air freshener, and two dice hanging from the rear view mirror. She was then taken to the basement of what appeared to be an abandoned house when the suspect stood over her and told her to "take [her] clothes off."
As the man attempted to take the girl's pants off, she says she kicked him, at which point he attempted to strangle her with his hand. The girl then punched him and poked him in the eyes before running upstairs to the first floor, where she grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the man in the thigh before escaping and getting a bus back to her grandmother's house.
The girl was treated at a local hospital and later released. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Cleveland Division of Police.
