CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police is asking for the public's help in tracking down missing 16-year-old Jason Zakel.
According to reports, Zakel was in the custody of child protective services at the Jane Edna Hunter center. When a child protection specialist went to pick up Jason at his mother’s house on Chambers Avenue on June 8, he was told by the mother she had not seen her son since June 5.
The mother, Amber Ballinger, was not cooperative with child services and would not provide any more information.
Repeated calls to Jason were not returned.
Jason Zakel is 5’10 and 135 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.
