CLEVELAND — Police are asking for the public's help locating two vehicles connected to a "possible abduction" in Cleveland's North Broadway neighborhood early Monday morning.
Officers arrived in the area of Anson Avenue and Dolloff Road just after 5:30 a.m. and were informed by residents of a girl between the ages of 14 and 15 years old "screaming and blowing a whistle on the street." The teen's exact whereabouts were not specified, but she is described as a Black female wearing a pink t-shirt and pink shorts.
According to witnesses, the girl had been with the occupants of two vehicles earlier. These cars were described as a gray Hyundai Elantra with an Ohio license plate number of JNN4395 and a blueish Kia Sportage with a Florida license plate reading QNJX18. A photo of the Kia in question can be seen below.
At this time, officials have "not confirmed that there was an abduction," but the vehicles involved are reported as being stolen. Anyone with information on this case is asked to immediately call 911.
