CLEVELAND -- Dec. 7, 1941.
“A date which will live in infamy.”
Veterans groups from across Northeast Ohio gathered aboard the WWII submarine USS Cod to mark the 77th year since the Japanese attack in Hawaii.
The event honored all who died that day, including the fallen from Northeast Ohio like Rear Admiral Isaac Campbell Kidd Jr.
The attack inflicted more than 2,400 deaths among US military and civilians and brought the Nation fully into the war.
