CLEVELAND — The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) has announced via a press release that two more staff members have tested positive for the coronavirus this week.

One of the employees is a maintenance worker at the Triskett District and self-quarantined on June 22 after noticing symptoms of the virus. That employee tested positive on July 5.

The other staff member works in management at Paratransit and has been out of the office since early June for non COVID-related events, but later tested positive on July 6.

Per the RTA's standard protocol, all work areas, equipment, and potential areas of exposure have been disinfected and cleaned. Other staff members who may have been at risk of exposure have been notified.

This brings the total number of RTA employees infected with the virus to 25, with 13 making full recoveries and returning to work.
