Witnesses say the two masked suspects were driving a white vehicle with tinted windows. As of Monday, officials have not made any arrests.

CLEVELAND — One person is dead and another was injured following a shooting in Cleveland's St. Clair-Superior neighborhood this past weekend.

Police say the incident occurred around 8:10 p.m. Saturday, when two male suspects wearing masks got out of a car and began firing at the 19-year-old victim as he was standing with two acquaintances. The teen died from his injuries in a driveway on the 5700 block of Dibble Avenue, and has since been identified as Bemetrius Hargrove.

A second man, whom authorities say was only walking down the sidewalk and not involved in the incident, was also shot in the side and taken to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. His exact condition is unknown at this time.

Witnesses say the two suspects were driving a white vehicle with tinted windows. As of Monday, officials have not made any arrests.

The incident was one of four shootings in Cleveland over the weekend that left a total of one dead and six injured, including a triple shooting on East 123rd Street Saturday morning. In addition, law enforcement also reported three more fatal overdoses following an earlier alert from the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, and a 64-year-old man died after being struck in an apparent hit-skip collision Sunday night.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to immediately call the Cleveland Division of Police's homicide bureau at (216) 623-5464 or Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County at (216) 252-7463. Tips can remain anonymous.
