US Marshals capture homicide suspects in Canton and Cleveland

Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force members arrested suspects for two homicides in two different cities.

CLEVELAND — On Wednesday, members of the US Marshals' Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested two homicide suspects in two different cities. 

Marshals arrested 24-year-old Kolbi Ross in Canton. He was captured without any incident in the 4200 block of Orchard Dale Dr. NW. Ross was wanted by the Canton Police Department for a shooting which occurred in the early morning hours on Sunday. The victim, Corwin Spicer, 40, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 200 block of Belden Ave SE in Canton.

Also on Wednesday, 55-year-old Paige McKinney Jr. was taken into custody by members of the Cleveland Division of the NOVFTF. McKinney Jr. was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for the beating death of Donald Partridge, 65. The homicide occurred in the area of West 28th and Detroit Ave., not far from where both the suspect and the victim lived. 

McKinney was also arrested without any incident in the 2700 block of Washington Ave., only a few blocks from where the homicide occurred.   

U.S. Marshals Pete Elliott said, “Across our cities in Ohio our dedicated teams are working day and night to keep our communities safe, violent fugitives will not find a place to hide anywhere in northern Ohio.”
