CLEVELAND — A high-speed chase was triggered overnight when a car was stolen from the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport car rental lot.
The situation started when Cleveland police got a call about a group of people trying to steal cars.
Three cars were damaged in the process, and one was stolen.
The rental car company was able to track that car’s GPS, and troopers caught up with it on I-480.
At times, the chase went more than 100 mph before the vehicle was later found near the Cleveland / Warrensville Heights border.
The driver is believed to be a juvenile.
