CLEVELAND — Thousands of bicycles are expected to fill the streets of Cleveland as the two-day VeloSano event returns starting Sept. 6 to raise money for cancer research at the Cleveland Clinic.

The annual event is "a global fundraising movement for hope and action, created to swiftly enable the cancer treatments of today and the cures of tomorrow through innovative, transformative research happening at Cleveland Clinic locations around the world."
This year’s event includes multiple ways to participate and help raise money:
- Guardians City loop: $500 commitment
- 12-mile ride: $1,000 commitment
- 25-mile ride: $1,000 commitment
- 50-mile ride: $1,000 commitment
- 75-mile ride: $1,500 commitment
- 100-mile ride: $1,500 commitment
- Virtual fundraiser: $250 commitment

The annual biking fundraiser has raised more than $51 million since it began in 2014, funding more than 240 cancer research projects.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 6: MALL B & CLEVELAND MUNICIPAL PARKING LOT
Noon
- Bike and bag check presented by RSM: Check your bike with a volunteer for overnight secured storage. Your bike will be ready for pick up to ride on Saturday morning!
- For your convenience, from 12–3:30 p.m., riders may use West Mall Drive to “Drive & Dash” and drop off their bike(s).
- On-site late registration
