CLEVELAND — Cleveland native Machine Gun Kelly had an intriguing proposal for Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce to come home to Northeast Ohio.

During Wednesday's episode of Travis and Jason Kelce's "New Heights" podcast, MGK called Travis and offered him $500,000 to leave the Chiefs and come play for the Cleveland Browns.

"I'm sure you get asked this question behind closed doors a lot, but I would be remiss if due to the nature of our friendship and just as a Clevelander if I didn't insert this question personally," said Kelly.

MGK offered Travis $500,000 cash upon arrival, as well as an additional $500,000 donation to their high schools, Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights. Finally, Travis would receive breakfast and coffee delivery each day from MGK's 27 Club Coffee Shop in Cleveland.

The full moment can be watched below:

"Come on Home Trav. Come on home, put these colors on and rock the city," said Kelly.

The Cleveland Heights native, who is now dating Taylor Swift, said he was intrigued by the offer, but admitted he's enjoying Kansas City.

"I'll tell you what, man, that is an intriguing offer, because you know how much we love the East Side of Cleveland," Travis said. "I'm not gonna lie, situation's pretty good in Kansas City."

In the podcast, the 34-year-old 2x Super Bowl winner admitted that playing for the Browns was his original dream.

"That was the original dream, though. You already know. When they brought the team back, I remember I think I cried in Coach [Rob] Chudzinski's face when I was getting drafted to please let me f------ play for Cleveland. It was one of my dreams to play for the Browns," admitted Travis.

"I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed and there is no decision that needs to be made now," MGK replied. "But just know my offer is real and it's on the table."

Additionally, MGK said he will make beats offers in the lockerroom every day if Travis comes home.

Swensons Drive-In decided to also add on to MGK's offer, throwing in free Galley Boys for a year.

After MGK hung up, Travis reminisced about the details of his 2013 meeting with Chudzinski during a pre-draft visit.

"Him and coach [Jon] Embree, the tight end coach down in Miami right now, I was crying in front of both of them,” Travis said. “Which is probably why they didn’t draft me, like this dude is way soft. He’s a mess right now.”

Unfortunately for Browns fans, it doesn't sound like the deal will be happening. Kelce is currently under contract with the Kansas City Chiefs for two more seasons after signing a four-year $57.25 million extension back in 2020.

"Chiefs kingdom, you know I love playing for the kingdom baby. I don't think I'll ever play anywhere else. Cleveland was always the dream growing up."
