Wild Winter Lights returns to Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for 2024 holiday season

The event will run from November 12 through December 30.

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has announced the return of the popular Wild Winter Lights event for the 2024 holiday season!

The event runs from Tuesday, Nov. 12, through Monday, Dec. 30, featuring more than 1.5 million lights strung across several holiday-themed areas of the zoo, which include Enchanted Forest, Swan Lake, Candy Lane and Polar Pathway. There's also Santa's North Pole Lodge where guests can take photos with Santa Claus himself.

As in previous years, there will be walk-through and drive-through dates for those who want to experience the event on foot or from the warmth of their own vehicle.

The event will run on select dates from 5:30 p.m. to 9: 30 p.m.

“This year guests will experience over a dozen walk-through displays, including larger-than-life holiday favorites,” said Kelly Manderfield, Cleveland Metroparks Chief Marketing Officer. “Wild Winter Lights continues to be a timeless holiday tradition, and we are grateful to our community partners who help bring the holidays to life at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.”
