SHAKER HEIGHTS — SHAKER HEIGHTS — "My brother is attacking his ex-wife."
A 911 call to the Shaker Heights Police Department Saturday morning has been released following the fatal stabbing of Aisha Fraser, the ex-wife of former Cuyahoga County Judge Lance Mason. The disgraced judge served nine months in jail in 2015 for domestic violence after punching his then wife 20 times and slamming her head into the dashboard of their car as they drove with their children.
According to police, the incident occurred at Aisha Fraser’s home on the 17000 block of Chagrin Blvd. in Shaker Heights. Her body was found in the driveway. Sources tell Channel 3 News that Mason attempted suicide after her death right before he reportedly rammed his car into a police cruiser while trying to flee the scene. Both Mason and an officer were taken to the hospital.
In the 911 call, a woman who identifies herself as Mason’s sister, and tells dispatch that Mason admitted to attacking his ex-wife.
"He said he stabbed her… and she's dead," said Mason’s sister.

Mason has since been charged with felonious assault for the events that occurred following his ex-wife's death during the weekend.
