PARMA, Ohio — The international grocery chain ALDI announced Monday that it will bring a new location to Parma later this month.

At 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, the grand opening of ALDI's newest Northeast Ohio location will take place with deals and giveaways extending through the weekend.

Operating hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier,” said Corey Stucker, Hinckley vice president for ALDI. “ALDI is positioned to help keep costs as low as possible because of our disciplined approach to operating with simplicity and efficiency. We’re committed to offering our shoppers the products they know and love at the lowest possible prices, period! We have served the Parma community for more than five years and are excited to continue offering residents an affordable way of shopping.”

According to a press release, ALDI will give a gift bag of various "fan favorite" products as well as a gift card to the store to the first 100 customers during the grand opening morning. During the store's first weekend of operation (November 21-24), shoppers will also have an opportunity to enter a sweepstakes for a $500 ALDI gift card.

The store takes over the old Save-A-Lot location near Day Drive.
