BEDFORD, Ohio — A full list of charges against Bedford High School football coach Sean Williams is now public after he was indicted last week for an alleged sexual relationship with a student.
Cuyahoga County court records say Williams faces six counts of sexual battery.
Authorities began investigating Williams, 43, in October amid accusations he'd been having a sexual relationship with a student. Police reports say investigators collected a Bedford High School cheerleading skirt, a La Quinta hotel room key and a receipt from Tiffany & Co. as evidence. Williams was arrested Nov. 14, court documents state.
A former NFL defensive back, Williams has been Bedford's head football coach since 2011. The district website also lists him as a special education teacher.
Williams is scheduled for arraignment Feb. 22.
