On Friday, 41-year-old Joseph Bowman entered a not-guilty plea. Bowman is currently being held on a $5 million bond.

Bedford police say 45-year-old Seritha Ballantyne was found shot in the head in the upstairs bedroom of a home on Natalie Road. She was pronounced dead at the scene just before 2:30 a.m., and officials believe that Bowman stole her car and fled after shooting her.

Anyone with information regarding Bowman is asked to immediately call either the Bedford Police Department's detective bureau at (440) 232-3408 or the tip line for the U.S. Marshals' Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at (877) 926-8332.
