Police say the incident happened on Thursday evening when a Flock camera in Bratenahl alerted officers about a stolen Kia driving on Lakeshore Boulevard.

Officers found the Kia and attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver failed to stop, leading to a police pursuit.

"The Kia lost control and ran into an innocent motorist on South Marginal Drive at East 55th Street. Luckily, no one was injured in the crash," said Bratenahl police in a press release.

Bratenahl police say four people fled on foot from the Kia, but officers arrested a 14-year-old boy.

The Kia was stolen from another Northeast Ohio suburb, according to police.

The Bratenahl Village Police Department was assisted by the Cleveland Division of Police and Cleveland Metroparks Police Department in attempting to locate the other occupants who had fled.
