BRECKSVILLE, Ohio — Riverview Road is currently closed between Snowville Road and Route 82 in Brecksville following a fuel spill.
Officials say the incident began on Tuesday morning at around 7 a.m. when the Brecksville Fire Department was notified that a disabled tractor-trailer on Riverview Road was leaking fuel onto the roadway.
Upon arriving on the scene, officials contacted the National Park Service, Metroparks Service, the Environmental Protection Agency and the SERT Hazmat Team.
Currently, the SERT Hazmat Team is on the scene, assessing and beginning the cleanup operations.
