CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — An investigation is underway after one man was killed and another was injured following a shooting in Cleveland Heights on Thursday night.
Cleveland Heights police say the shooting happened at around 9:52 p.m. at 2259 Noble Road. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a 23-year-old man and a 41-year-old man with gunshot wounds to their heads.
Both of the victims were transported to University Hospitals, where 23-year-old King Carter of Cleveland Heights died on Friday morning. Additionally, the 41-year-old man remains in the hospital, but the severity of his injuries is unknown.
Cleveland Heights police detectives have identified a person of interest who is in custody.
At this time, the shooting remains under investigation.
