22-year-old Cleveland man killed at gas station in Warrensville Heights

According to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office, the incident happened Aug. 27 at a gas station across from Warrensville Heights High School.

WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — An investigation is underway after a 22-year-old Cleveland man died following an undisclosed incident at a gas station in Warrensville Heights earlier this week.

According to details released Thursday morning from the Cuyahoga Medical Examiner's Office, the incident happened on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at a gas station across from Warrensville Heights High School. 

The man, who has been identified as Mahlyk Williams, was taken to South Pointe Hospital and was transferred to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he died.
