A Cleveland woman accused of striking and killing a 9-year-old girl with her car last November has pleaded guilty, the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office confirmed Thursday.
Lacynthia A. Tidmore, 23, faced charges of aggravated vehicular homicide and failure to stop after an accident, both third degree felonies.
Authorities say Tidmore struck De'Zyer Mays on Babbit Road in Euclid in the early morning hours of Nov. 7 and continued on without stopping. Mays died weeks later as a result of her injuries.
Tidmore is scheduled to be sentenced on May 24 at 10 a.m. She faces up to 10 years in prison.
