BRECKSVILLE, Ohio — To celebrate their 50th anniversary, the Cuyahoga Valley National Park is holding events over the next two months throughout the area covering the park.
“Cuyahoga Valley National Park expands the idea of what a national park can be,”, said Lisa Petit, Cuyahoga Valley National Park superintendent. “Since the park was created by Congress on December 27, 1974, we have been working to realize its purpose as a park by, of and for the people. We invite all people to come see for yourself that there is something for everyone and to be part of the park’s future.”
Two special events will be held in Peninsula during the celebration period.
