EUCLID, Ohio — The Euclid Police Department is investigating the death of a 46-year-old man that happened over Memorial Day weekend.
On Sunday, May 29, at 9:46 p.m., Euclid police officers responded to a report of shots being fired at 19219 Euclid Avenue.
Police say 46-year-old Eric Dewon Mitchell was found at the vestibule of his apartment building.
Mitchell, a Euclid resident, suffered multiple gunshot wounds in his upper torso. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
