EUCLID, Ohio — A standoff involving a SWAT team and law enforcement from several agencies took place on Friday morning after shots were fired inside a Euclid home as U.S. Marshals were serving warrants on a suspect.

Marshals were at the house on Tungsten Road to pick up 36-year-old Deonte Gulley, who had a warrant for robbery with a firearm and a federal warrant from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

When marshals arrived, they heard two gunshots in the house and backed off. They called SWAT and eventually entered the home to find that Gulley had shot himself. He was taken to an area hospital. There is no word yet on his condition.
