GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio — Police believe a total of 10 vehicles, including five lawnmowers, were stolen from Garfield Heights City Schools during the week of Christmas in a pair of burglaries.
Officials say the first incident occurred on Christmas Night, when the lawnmowers were taken from the district's bus garage on Turney Road. Just two days later, a second robbery resulted in the pilfering of five more unspecified vehicles, and authorities suspect the disturbances are connected.
Law enforcement have shared photos of a while pickup truck with a flat trailer they say was involved in the thefts. However, no specific details regarding the alleged perpetrators are available at this time.
Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to immediately call the Garfield Heights Police Department's detective bureau at (216) 475-5840.
