Former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora will remain behind bars.
On Monday, U.S. District Court Judge Sara Lioi denied Dimora's motion to vacate, set aside, or correct his sentencing for corruption.
Dimora was sentenced to 28 years in prison for 31 corruption charges in 2012. His previous appeals have been denied as well.
The 63-year-old Dimora is serving his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution near Elkton, Ohio.
