A 35-year-old man has been charged with the Christmas Day murder of his mother in Mayfield Heights.
Police allege that Vincent Varone struck and killed his mother, 61-year-old Theresa Varone, with a pickup truck inside a garage on Windsor Avenue. Theresa was pronounced dead on the scene.
On Friday, a Grand Jury in Cuyahoga County charged Vincent with aggravated murder, murder, and felonious assault.
