'Acts of hate and vandalism will not be tolerated': Orange Village police investigating antisemitic graffiti found on garages

ORANGE, Ohio — The Orange Village Police Department is investigating "multiple acts" of antisemitic vandalism. 

Police say that two garage doors were "defaced with spray paint, one of which was marked with a symbol of Jewish hate," in a neighborhood on the north end of Orange Village. 

"This vile and abhorrent attack has no place in our community and every resource will be utilized in our investigation into those responsible," said Orange Village police in a press release. 

Police noted that the Jewish Federation of Cleveland has been made aware of the incident and is working with detectives. 

"Acts of hate and vandalism will not be tolerated in our community. The Orange Village Police Department is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents," said Orange Village police in a statement. 

At this time, police are pursuing all leads and are working to identify the individual(s) responsible for the incidents.
