NORTH RANDALL, Ohio -- The long-dormant Randall Park Mall is meeting its ultimate demise.
Demolition began Monday morning at the once-popular shopping mecca on Miles Road.

Randall Park Mall closed forever in 2009. It first opened in 1976, dubbed as "the world's largest shopping center."
Meanwhile, Rolling Acres Mall in Akron still sits empty years after it closed its doors after closing in 2008.
