ROCKY RIVER, Ohio — Two people were sent to the hospital after scaffolding collapsed at a Rocky River construction site.
Rocky River's fire chief, Aaron Lenart, told 3News that the incident happened on Lake Road just before 10 a.m. Friday.
Both individuals were taken to MetroHealth for treatment. The extent of their injuries/conditions is unknown at this time.
Officials told 3News that the incident happened at an active construction site for a future insurance company.
Crews are currently staying on the scene while equipment is still running.
The Rocky River Fire Department was assisted by Lakewood fire at the scene.

At the time first responders arrived both individuals were conscious and responsive. They are receiving the best possible medical care.
