CLEVELAND — A Northeast Ohio woman wanted for her role in a fatal drug overdose was arrested in Kentucky by the U.S. Marshals Service.
According to officials, 42-year-old Angela Miserendino was wanted by the Solon Police Department for involuntary manslaughter, corrupting another with drugs, and endangering children.
U.S. Marshals officials arrested Miserendino on Wednesday night at a home in the 1000 block of Duckhorn Drive in Richmond, Kentucky.
Police say that a warrant was issued for her arrest on Jan. 22, 2024, after she allegedly provided drugs to a victim who died as a result of an overdose in June 2022.
“This suspect may have thought that she got away with the crime she committed but the dedicated work of Solon Police Detectives and quick work by members of our task force and the U.S. Marshals in Kentucky ensured that she will be brought to justice,” said U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated.
Miserendino will remain in custody in Kentucky until she is extradited back to Ohio.
