Man accused of abducting mother of his child in South Euclid still at large; woman found safe

Authorities say Nicholas McGee broke into a Grosvenor Road home and kidnapped Jada Wells. The suspect 'should be considered armed and dangerous.'

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio — Police have issued an urgent warning for a man accused of abducting the mother of his child Thursday afternoon in South Euclid.

According to a release from Police Chief Joseph Mays, Nicholas Shawn Ian McGee broke into a home on Grosvenor Road and kidnapped Jada Wells around 2:45 p.m. Officials confirmed hours later that Wells has since been found safe, but McGee's whereabouts remain unknown at this time, with authorities saying he was last spotted somewhere on the east side of Cleveland.

McGee is described as being 6 feet tall and weighing 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Mays says he "should be considered armed and dangerous," and was driving a black SUV that could potentially be a Jeep Cherokee or Dodge Durango with dark tinted windows.
