NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio — Attention all candy and gaming lovers: A new Sweets & Geeks is coming to the Great Northern Mall in North Olmsted this September.
The candy and game store will feature trendy and nostalgic candies with modern and retro games for all ages, according to the announcement.
Shoppers can expect to find a pop-culture-friendly atmosphere where they can play, rent and buy a variety of games and taste any unique treat or soda flavor they desire.
The store will feature everything from board games and puzzles to popular trading cards and role-playing games. It will also have comic books, miniatures, LEGO sets and specialty apparel. Along with the wide selection of merchandise, the shop says they will eventually host tournaments for certain card and board games, karaoke events and trivia nights.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that this September we are expanding to a new location at Great Northern Mall in North Olmsted,” said Michael Sency, general manager of Sweets & Geeks. “This new store will offer an amazing shopping experience, and we can’t wait to share our passion with the community.”
The new location will be located across from Bath & Body Works and JCPenny.
The company was founded back in October 2020 in Medina by co-owners Jim McMahan and Brad Hoisington.
