CLEVELAND — US Marshals announced the arrest of a suspect wanted in a Warrensville Heights murder.
Dante Freeman, 20, was wanted in connection to the murder of 19-year-old Lequan Head on January 3 of this year. Officers found Head in a car near South Pointe Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
Members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force learned that Freeman was "possibly" in a house in Brunswick. On Wednesday afternoon, officers found and arrested Freeman at that residence.
He has been charged with murder, attempted murder, felonious assault and discharging of a firearm.
U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “Great work by members of our team locating this violent fugitive and safely bringing him into custody. Hopefully this will bring some justice to the victim’s family.”
