CLEVELAND — East Cleveland police are asking drivers to avoid an intersection where a "major" water main break occurred Wednesday night.
According to Acting Police Chief Kenneth Lundy, the water main break happened near the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Shaw Avenue.
The Cleveland Water Department is on the scene and water has been shut off, Lundy said.
Lundy did not say what caused the water main break or how soon service is expected to be restored.
