ROCKY RIVER, Ohio -- West siders will have a new place to grocery shop.
The Whole Foods Market grand opening celebration started Wednesday, complete with a bread-breaking ceremony.
An in-store pub features seasonal food and drink menu, with a billiards table and daily happy hour specials.
Cold-pressed varietal apple juice highlight local fall flavors, from honeycrisp to pink lady to granny smith. There is an artisan cheese department with antipasti, olive and pickle bars and an extensive bakery with fresh-made donuts and artisan bread.
A bar with artisan cocktails, wine and beer features local distilleries and breweries.
Bike enthusiasts will also have a place for products and accessories for sale in the Whole Body department and a bike repair station.
The chain has stores in University Heights and Woodmere.
