HILLIARD, Ohio — The daughter of a mayor in Massachusetts who was reported missing from a wellness facility in Hilliard on Wednesday has been found safe, according to police.
The Hilliard Division of Police posted on Twitter Sunday evening saying 18-year-old Riley O'Connell was found safe by Columbus police. She had been last seen in the 5400 block of Scioto Darby Road around 1 a.m. on June 14.
O'Connell's mother, Shaunna, posted to Facebook last week saying her daughter had gone missing from the Evoke Wellness Center, where she had been receiving treatment for mental health issues.
O'Connell was found shortly before 5 p.m. in the 800 block of East Broad Street. She was taken to a local hospital to be evaluated and was released into the custody of Hilliard police.
