THOMPSON, Ohio — The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) has joined law enforcement agencies in Geauga County in the search for a missing 76-year-old Thompson woman.
According to a Facebook post by the Geauga County Sheriff's Office on Saturday morning, 76-year-old Susan Taylor is believed to have gone missing from her Sidley Road residence in the early morning hours on Friday.
Taylor is approximately 5'6" tall, weighing 140lbs, with short light-colored hair and wears corrective lenses. Sheriff's deputies add that Mrs. Taylor is not in possession of her vehicle, cellular phone, or other personal effects. No clothing description is known at this time.
The BCI's Crime Scene Unit is assisting the Geauga County Sheriff's Office in its investigation.
"We are asking the public, if located or have information pertinent to the ongoing investigation, immediately contact the Geauga County Sheriff's Office at (440) 286-1234," the post adds.
