CHARDON, Ohio — It's back!
For the 92nd year, the Geauga County Maple Festival is underway in Chardon Square.
The festival, which kicked off on Thursday, will run until Sunday, April 30. It includes a number of events, such as a baking contest, bathtub races, tug of war, kids tractor pull, pancakes in the park, a lumberjack competition and the sap run.
Each day, the festival will offer all-day ride wristbands for $25 per person.
On Saturday and Sunday, there will be a free shuttle offered for those attending the festival.

Friday:
- Pancakes in the Park: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Rides and concessions open: 10 a.m.
- Paul Kovac and Friends 12 p.m.
- Ohio Crossroads - Bluegrass: 4:30 p.m.
- Chardon Polka Band: 7 p.m.
- Festival closes: 11 p.m.
Saturday:
- Pancakes in the Park: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Rides and concessions open: 10 a.m.
- Invitational Lumberjack Competition: 10 a.m.
- Kiddie Tractor Pull - registration: 10 a.m.
- Kiddie Tractor Pull: 11 a.m.
- Swifty the Clown: 11 a.m.
- Pancake eating contest: 11 a.m.
- Tug of war contest: noon
- Adult hip hop: noon
- Inspired movement: 12:30 p.m.
- Jungle Terry: 1 p.m.
- Grand Parade: 3 p.m.
- Introduction of queens and dignitaries: 4 p.m.

Sunday:

- One mile Sap Run: 8 a.m.
- Five mile Sap Run: 8:30 a.m.
- Sap Run winners announced: 10:30 a.m.
- Rides and concessions open: 11 a.m.
- Bathtub races: 11 a.m.
- Invitational Lumberjack Competition/finals: 12 p.m.
- Maple syrup auction: 12 p.m.
- Burton Ballett: 1 p.m.
- Grand Parade: 3 p.m.
- Introduction of queens and dignitaries: 4:30 p.m.
