GEAUGA COUNTY, Ohio — A Strongsville priest already in jail on child pornography charges could be facing even more charges.
On Sunday, 3News learned that prosecutors in Geauga County are investigating more charges against Robert McWilliams.
Prosecutors in Geauga County are now saying they're looking into evidence of child prostitution and hands on physical abuse.
McWilliams, 39, faces charges of pandering obscenities on accusations he solicited photos from a minor.
According to the indictment, which was filed in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court, a grand jury found that McWilliams “unlawfully did, with knowledge of the character of the material or performance involved, create, record, photograph, film, develop, reproduce, or publish material that shows a minor participating or engaging in sexual activity. …”
The indictment also included one count of possessing criminal tools.
The allegations listed in the indictment span from Oct. 25, 2018 to Dec. 5, 2019.
McWilliams, who remains in jail, is facing child pornography charges in both Geauga and Cuyahoga counties.
He was ordained as a priest in 2017.
