CLEVELAND — Robert Samuels, acclaimed journalist and author, reached new literary stature after winning the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for Non-Fiction with the book "His Name Is George Floyd: One Man's Life and the Struggle for Racial Justice."
Samuels is a former writer for the Washington Post and currently works for the New Yorker. He is in Cleveland to serve as keynote speaker of the annual Urban League of Greater Cleveland Equal Opportunity Day Luncheon on Wednesday.
