RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio — As many teachers, students and families prepare for the start of the academic school year, one Northeast Ohio school district will have a brand new resource to enjoy.
The Cuyahoga County Public Library is celebrating the grand opening of its new Richmond Heights Branch with a family-friendly fun event on Saturday, August 14.
From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. community members can enjoy limited edition commemorative library cards; Pop Culture CLE gourmet ice pops, while supplies last; T-shirt screen printing and other family-friendly activities. Guest can also take advantage of fine forgiveness, as the CCPL will waive library fines and fees for customers who visit the new branch between Aug. 14-21.
The event will also feature a ribbon cutting ceremony and guest speakers.
According to a report from Clevealnd.com , the new library will replace the CCPL’s existing branch at 5235 Wilson Mills Road. It is also reported that the branch will offer public computer stations (with free Wi-Fi), meeting rooms and a great selection of materials for all county residents to use and enjoy.
The new branch is located at 449 Richmond Road insider of the District's Upper School Building.
