How you can donate to Indian Lake community members affected by tornado

Indian Lake Schools is collecting donations and supplies of all kinds for families.

LOGAN COUNTY, Ohio — Logan County’s Indian Lake community is offering resources to those affected by the severe storms on Thursday. There are also several organizations collecting donations for those who lost their home or belongings to the tornado.

While Indian Lake Schools are closed for the day, the high school opened its doors to those affected by the tornado or those without power who need a safe place to spend the day. Find more information from the school here.

People who are affected and have no access to food can also come to the school for a warm meal. The United Way of Logan County is collecting monetary donations for victims through a tornado relief fund.

Several other community buildings are open for those who need shelter:

  • Indian Lake Skating Rink
  • Indian Lake Schools
  • Lighthouse
  • Indian Lake Community Church
  • Church of God (Russell’s Point)
  • West Liberty Church of God
  • Huntsville Fire Department

Indian Lake Adventures is offering restrooms and hot showers to victims, first responders and volunteers aiding in cleanup efforts. Those with animals can also bring them to the on-site dog park.
