CLEVELAND — Home improvement store Lowe's says it plans to hire more than 700 new employees to work in its Cleveland-area stores.
Lowe's says it will hold a hiring event on National Hiring Day, which is May 4, 2021. The event will be held at every Lowe's store in the country.
Open positions include cashiers, retail associates, stockers and receivers, merchandising service associates, drivers, supervisors and Pro sales roles.
The move comes as the company aims to hire more than 50,000 seasonal part-and-full-time workers at its stores across the country.
No resumes or reservations for interviews are required. However, job seekers can RSVP for the event and learn more about the open positions by clicking here.
To apply, just head to your local Lowe's store on May 4 between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time. Then, just visit the registration table or the customer service desk to register. Then, you will either scan a QR code or navigate to an electronic sign in form on your phone. Lowe's will text or email you when it's time for your interview with instructions on what comes next.
Lowe's says it offers competitive pay for hourly workers and a variety of health, welfare and financial benefits to full and part-time employees. That includes health care and insurance benefits, an employee stock purchase plan, retirement plans, paid time off, leave programs and tuition assistance.
