Sheetz raising wages by $2/hour for all employees, looking to hire 2,000 new workers this summer

Additionally, Sheetz has also invested $12 million into a summer stimulus program which will provide an additional $1/hour to employees during the summer.

On Monday, Sheetz announced that it will raise wages by $2/hour for its over 18,000 employees, effective May 21. 

According to a release sent to 3News, the restaurant and convenience chain company, which currently operates more than 600 stores in the United States, is calling the move a '$50 million annual investment.' 

Additionally, Sheetz also will provide an extra $1/hour to employees this summer between May 21 through September 23.
